I just watched a DVD of Indiana Jones - The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull, and I don't know what to say. It was neat seeing them back together, sort of like a Star Trek movie with old crew standing like they had back braces, and did some "life", but this was odd to me because Dr. Jones just didn't use those gestures and smirkey expressions and sly looks like he did before. He didn't seem to have much intensity, almost like he was acting in a television production. It was entertaining enough to keep me with it, and wow the effects were all grand, just underwhelming in that there wasn't much of a there there for me. I think I would have liked it as a radio play instead, but he didn't even sound like he could have been the man he had been even being older. It all seemed as weak as the weakest scene out of any of the previous versions that I liked but wasn't my favorite pick if that makes any sense at all? I'm sorry... K... ><Tomasina ChicaWolverina!

Maybe it's just the years of anticipation. They talked about making "IJ-4" for probably 15 years and your expectations might have been too high.
Funny thing is, you know RAMS said there would be more films and I certainly didn't see cliffhangers that would point to a continuation. Yet, just the other day I happened to hear George Lucas say they would like to go ahead with IJ-5 if they can all agree on a new script. Let's just hope it doesn't take them another 15 years to reach consensus.

I started to watch it but ended up turning it off.
