Here's a wacko one for you! First let me say I hardly ever remember dreams but two mornings ago....
I was inside a home and one of my Aunts was in the room with me. Don't remember any conversation but she was changing clothes in front of me as if I wasn't there. This particular aunt has been dead for a few years now but she was young, not the age when she died.
Also, in the room was either a painting or mirror about the size of a flat screen TV. Suddenly photos of my family started flashing on the mirror like a power point presentation. Photo after photo of all my relatives....they were all young in these photos as well. Like I was looking at an old photo album.
I was in shock and I was trying to tell my Aunt to look at the pictures but nothing would come out of my mouth! I guess I was the only one who could see them!
I must have been mumbling under my breath because my wife woke me up at that moment. I told her about the dream and she said something "like thats fucking weird"!
DUH! What's that all about?

"I was in shock and I was trying to tell my Aunt to look at the pictures but nothing would come out of my mouth! I guess I was the only one who could see them! "
I've heard something about this....Because I used to have dreams when I was a child, of running away from something or some monster or vampire or what have you, and I would try to scream but no sound would come out of my mouth...and recently I saw a show where they said that it means that you feel like no one is listening to you, or you aren't being heard. Tie that in with the family photos, and did you ever feel like you weren't being heard by someone(s) in the family? Maybe as a child? Not saying this is true for you, but maybe?

Good question....who knows. I'm not very savvy when it comes to interpreting dreams. Come to think of it I do have dreams like the ones you described. Had one recently as a matter of fact.
I was in a dark tunnel walking from one end to the other. I could feel a presence coming toward me but couldn't see it. I was apparently making these moaning noises because it again woke my wife up.
The weird thing about this is that at the "exact" moment that whatever was getting ready to grab me she touched me to wake me up! I wonder what the connection is between the dream state and the conscious state that may even effect the person next to you.
I mean the odds of reality touching you at the exact same moment that a dream entity touches you has to be phenomenal! Wouldn't you say?
On an aside....thank goodness for spell check! hehe
