I watched it live....on nasa tv....very cool! Now we are just awaiting the pictures, in about an hour.

Something strange....just a minute or so ago....all the NASA personel put on what seemed to be 3D glasses, and were all looking at something. These are moments I wish RAMS was around to tell us what they were doing and looking at, and why the 3D glasses?

Something else strange, a white thingy sticking up out of the mars surface,. and apparently scientists are scratching their heads over it blogs.discovery.com/news_space/

SURE! I'm betting RCH will be all over that! "The white-man's skull we see it now..." LOL Oh but that was exciting to watch and it's so nice to see it make such a perfectly good landing like that. It's so much like that original Mars lander from the late 70's, what was that one called? >< Tomasina ChicaWolverina!
