Now, I may spell this wrong, but you know German, Chica. I think you're aware that when JFK said "Eich Bin Ein Berliner," he was actually saying "I am a soft jelly donut," or something like that...so Barack wisely avoided trying to use German.
You can confirm this, right?

Rico, I think that's a misnomer cooked up by more right-wing soldot from Jebus down Flooridah way. They sort of twisted interpitational aspects of German phrases and speech idiom. There's been enough said about the subject on the web, but he was really trying to be very precise instead of just the general way most Germans would say they are from a place like that. I'd say look it up, but maybe PierrenWolve could add something? I'll bet it's the same conservatives that murdered him! >< Tomasina ChicaWolverina!

I used to work with a woman at the Post Office who'd been in the Army stationed in Germany for a couple of years. And, she did tell me that there's a very popular pastry sorta like a jelly donut there that is called a "Berliner."

Yes Rico, that's a fact! But that's not the point I made to the question that you asked either! >< Tomasina ChicaWolverina!
