This is so spectacular it needed it's own thread. Best of all, it's so unknown and being hit so little, it downloads a lot faster than You Tube! cspanjunkie.org/?p=288

Damn! That was good! I missed it because none of the big name news outlets covered it. They override live speeches with their supposed "best political teams" and talking heads who are doing nothing more than advancing their own political agendas. Wolf Blitzer should be reassigned overseas or back to Pentagon duty...

As a bonus, they've got some great musical performances between speeches. Makes me wish I was there!

Speaking of music, my son is heading down to Denver in just a little while to watch a Rage Against the Machine concert ( ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5iiA5tjPs3zGcbJ9o6RzbDCgANt3gD92IBNH02) being held at the Coliseum. Wasn't he 13 just a few weeks ago? He's excited about the show and I'm glad it is happening at the Coliseum and not very close to the Pepsi Center and Downtown. From all that I hear and know about Downtown Denver, things are terribly munged there through Thursday night. Normal transportation routes are shut down; security is incredibly tight; and nobody is getting a real look at all the protesters. One acquaintance is watching the evening events at the Convention Center and reports all parking lots in the area are searching under hoods and trunks for bombs. They are shutting down Interstate 25 on both sides of Invesco Field (Mile High Stadium) near 5:00 PM local time tomorrow evening for security reasons while nearly 80,000 people fill in to the stadium to hear Obama accept the nomination. Denver's a really nice place to visit normally, but a very bad place to be this week. And trust me on this ... no matter how pretty Colorado looks in any background shots, it's a terrible place to live. Got that? It's hell living in Colorado. You do understand -- I've got to say see these things. All these damn news outlets have let our secret outta the bag. Far too many people are spilling into the state and ruining it. It might as well be turning into Far East Los Angeles dammit!
