Anyway, I found an e-mail addy for Fonataine Maverick and sent her a suggestion she do a campaign commercial, and here's what she shot back: ____________________
"We have just shot a mini-documentary with Brave New Films. I believe it will be on YouTube in a couple of days. I would certainly consider it, but since it has been hard for me to think on my feet (in front of a camera and mike) I would prefer if I got someone to write something. I have thought from the beginning that this Maverick angle would make for interesting stories, but I am not sure exactly how a commercial would work - but I am open to the idea. I do wonder why the average "undecided" voter (who ARE these people? joe sixpack?) would care about what I think."
So, there you have it! A post (even if forwarded) on this little bored from the REAL Maverick!

Its started to all come back in fragments to me again Rico, thanks. I remember the neighborhood boys and my brother poking at me with their Paladin pistols outfits. But for some reason the only western that I remember at all was the one with CHUCK Connors - The Rifleman. I always had some empathy for his plight and missing mom figure they seemed to suffer from not having. He was a duffus at times, but I was always worried he'd die from something in the well or whatever, fighting for the right to own his ranch. Thanks for the Maverick family links, it's so cool to be an expert on it now! But do you have any media links for that CNN and or the others interviews so we can watch and read the media political storm? ><Tomasina ChicaWolverina!

I did a search, and didn't find the video of the interview on the CNN site, or on You Tube. I'm wondering if I saw it on MSNBC...I switch back & forth. I'll do some more checking.
The kid on "The Rifleman" was Johnny Crawford, by the way. Now, let's see if I can do this right:
