It's amazing, because in the heat of our own election, none of the major networks have mentioned anything about today's Canadian Election. I can't find a single article about it on CNN's site, but finally found this article about it: www.cbc.ca/news/canadavotes/story/2008/10/13/election-polls-open.html?ref=rssI only know about this because of a couple of Canadian ladies I picked up in the cab last night. They said they think Harper could be out as PM. The Liberals are running strong because of Harper's close ties to Bush. So, Naomi...let us know what happens. It won't be reported here, I guess.

Yeah, I guess Harper won. If there were any possibility at all that the "born in Kenya" thing was true, and I've been hearing this Berg character ranting about it for months, Obama would never have run. There would be no way of concealing it. The one exception is that he did not know about it himself, but when he started getting close to running his grandmother would have warned him.
Not to mention that the RNC is beginning to gamble millions on those "Bill Ayers" robo-calls, when this would be far more damaging. You think for one minute that Karl Rove would let this go by? He's back advising McSame.
Berg was a Hillary supporter and hoped to derail the nomination process. He would have succeeded if there was anything at all to this.

Not knowledgeable about canadian politics. American politics are far more interesting. Although, what little I did see about the elections, Canadian elections seemed to be quite mud slinging, even to the point of getting ugly. I'm usually much more intune with American politics.

I just hope that someone fixes those wall street bastards running of with peoples life savings. Enough is enough.
As far as Harper is concerned he runs a tight ship and himself holding an economic BA helps. The fact that illegal wall street practices can affect the whole world would not go lightly anywhere else, with the possible exception of Great Britain. Who ever brings back public executions of politicians and the likes of ENRON CEO,s has my vote.
