It never ceases to amaze me how the media covers Republican complaints about individual voter fraud, yet rarely covers evidence of wholesale election theft, such as the Ken Blackwell scheme that threw Ohio, which had voted for Kerry in 2004, to Bush, thus throwing the Presidential Election.
Now, here in Nevada, Republican officials have been caught red-handed, making calls to voters with Hispanic Names. When the call, they claim to be from the registrar's office. They tell the potential voters that in order to avoid long voter lines, they can simply take the votes over the phone. They ask the voters their preferences, then tell them their vote is complete and they do not need to go to the polls.
Vote suppression may not work this time, since Obama's margin of victory may be too big to steal. But with Bush's operatives, especially Karl Rove, looking at prison time should Obama be elected, they will certainly pull out all the stops.
