It's quite a reach, but you may have heard about Vince Bugliosi's book, "The Trial of George W Bush for Murder." Bugliosi maintains that if it can be proven that Bush fabricated evidence for WMD as a pretext for war, he can be tried for murder in any jurisdiction where a resident died was sent to Iraq and died in the war. He identified over 1,000 local jurisdictions where charges could be brought. He urged any DA or State Attorney General to bring charges against Bush, and offered to work for them as special prosecutor. Since charges would be brought locally, a Presidential Pardon could not immunize him. Now, a candidate for Attorney General in Vermont is campaigning on the promise that she WILL bring charges against Bush if she's elected, and WILL hire Bugliosi as special prosecutor. Keep a close eye on this one. Here's her web site: www.charlottedennettforattorneygeneral.com/I think it's interesting that even though Bugliosi's book has been a best-seller, no TV network has had the courage to interview him. He's been on lots of radio talk shows, though.
