Problem is, he'd been in prison for another crime and died in 1996. He'd confessed and recanted twice, and had also made false confessions to other crimes, so without physical evidence they could never charge him. I guess with modern technology, they finally proved he was the one who did it. So, I was wondering, if you were John Walsh, would you feel cheated because you never got to confront the guy in court? John Walsh did always believe the guy was the real killer of his son. And, he did die in prison. But, if it were me, it would still leave me with an empty feeling.
