Hi, I have been away a little while cause my puter died, but I quickly turned it on and stuck the CD in and it reinstalled windows for me.
So, knock on wood, I am back. Can't afford to take it into the shop till sometime after christmas.
I have an EMachine, they are really great. The reason I am having problems with it, is because I have never taken it in for maintenance.
But I would definitely stick with EMachine, they are great, really! It seems to always fix itself.
What kind of computer do you all have?
;D

You're a type of professional with a need for a backup system too hon, I hope you're making backups with cds' and dvds' too. I hope you're doing the updates and the recent service packs and have all the proper native drivers installed for your hardware? I'm using an all aluminum Thermaltake Xaser II case and I have an Asus A8N4 Delux MoBo, for the older AMD 2X64 Core Socket 939 cpu. Two WD SATA 340GB Hard drives, with one WD eSATA 670 GB HD in an external OWC Mercury Elite Pro enclosure. It's got a new like 800w Thermaltake PSU too. It's got a new eVgA nVidia GeForce 9800 GTX SSC Video card. Ummm.... well there's lots more but I'm going to rebuild it with a new AMD AM2 MoBo next that will be much faster and more up to date for this video card so it will run better too. I recently completed all of the HalfLife 2 series games on the hardest setting with it all turned on to the highest in the Orange Box edition of the series. I sometimes play TF2 but I love to play CrySis on high settings too! LOL I just love 3D stuff and men who wear big divers watches to bed... Ok... ~*(G'HuGS!)*~ ><Tomasina ChicaWolverina!

I'll be trying to determine the significance of a big diver's watch for some time...

I'll be trying to determine the significance of a big diver's watch for some time... sometimes things fall under the category of too much information - this is one of those times
