I would be really careful about what you choose to take from viewing those clips. It is historically inaccurate in a number of areas, but worse -- it has an anti-US and feel to it. Take away the obvious propaganda rants and the historical inaccuracies, it could be almost believable. To me, it is clever fiction...
Understand this, the makers of these *stories* feed on the gullibility of their viewers. By the way, I do own a hybrid that averages 200 mpg. (Truth or fiction? -- You decide!)

Chernobyl: I don't believe you can buy a hybrid that gets 200mpg as such, although there's now a "Smart Car" hybrid that may come close. But, a plug-in Prius Hybrid probably does get 200 mpg as long as you don't leave town. People are modifying them as plug-ins, but I don't know if Toyota is actually selling them yet.

Awright, it was wishful thinking. I am seriously exploring gasoline alternatives/conversions. If anybody finds something dynamic in real life in that venue, I do hope they share the knowledge...
