Last Sunday morning I awoke after coming out of a strange somewhat nightmarish dream where I had just had a fantasy tattooing around my left wrist area with some extending portions jutting out of it over the top of my forearm and over the top of the hand like a spear or arrow point. It was like it was in some Final Fantasy or Evercrest wrist-cuff weapon of some sort all in various dark and light tones of blue with a type of reflection effect similar to silverware. In this dream I had gotten it at first thinking how neat it would look, but the days following it became absolutely unbearable and shameful of me for having had done to myself. I've never liked tattooing, and the only thing I ever even considered doing was maybe having it done as an eyeliner. I never did that but, I know some young women that have things like that done on their arms and I always lie and tell them how cool it was. The tattooing thing really revolts me though. I think of biker sluts and NAZI lampshades and stuff. Just the thought of doing that sort of thing to me is horrifying, like killing the limb that it's applied to. >< Tomasina ChicaWolverina!

"Tattoo
To dream that you have tattoos, represents individuality and the desire to stand out in a crowd. You want to be unique and different from everybody else, particularly if you do not have any tattoos in real life. Consider also what the tattoo is. "www.dreammoods.com/dreamdictionary/t.htm"Tattoo
If you dream you are a tattoo artist and you are tattooing someone's body you will soon break with friends or family over strange practices. If you dream you are the one being tattooed you will become the target for a strangers jealousy but if you see someone else with tattoos then you will take a long, hard journey from home. "www.sleeps.com/dictionary/ttt.html "To see your body appearing tattooed, foretells that some difficulty will cause you to make a long and tedious absence from your home.
To see tattooes on others, foretells that strange loves will make you an object of jealousy.
To dream you are a tattooist, is a sign that you will estrange yourself from friends because of your fancy for some strange experience."www.dreamota.com/dream-dictionary/body-parts/tattoo.html

Gee I hope that's not me though. I wonder if it alls had something to do with a women I meant in an elevator a few days earlier who stuck up a conversation with me and that had tattoos on both arms, and they were old ones too! They always look so sick looking like a skin disorder, or bruises, god they're creepy things. And it isn't like people that have them are people I want to avoid or anything, because I think they are somewhat intriguing. I've never seen a tattoo that looked really nice enough in anyway that I could have done to myself. There was a guy in my class that had just gotten a really ugly large one of a cartoon dog's paw footprint on his arm shoulder all in solid black. They're like a vice! >< Tomasina ChicaWolverina!

I never had any tattoos, and at this stage of my life, I never will. But, it's really become a serious art form now. I guess my aversion to them comes from my time in the Navy when it was something guys did when they were drunk, coming back with some pretty stupid tats. Then, they'd go in for removal, which wasn't perfected at the time. What they had to do was to cut out the skin that the tat was on and sew it back together. It would leave a pretty ugly scar, but the tattoos at the time were so tacky that the scars were preferable.
For some strange reason, I do find that very tastefully done tattoos on women can be quite sexy. Reno seems to have such great tattoo artist, that some of the work I've seen should rightly be called "Skin Illustrations," rather than tattoos.

I thought they'd be on to new impermanent technology in the tattooing arts by this time. I would probably try one if it weren't for the fact that it's there to stay? I'm much more inclined to have permanent hair removal in/on places for that much money. Rico, did you ever see that funny SNL foe-ad on a product that removes tattoos. They start out with an age progression sequence of a womans Goth wing tattoo on the small of her back! LOL Owww! It stings like a B... >< Tomasina ChicaWolverina!
