This is something I've advocated for years and it looks like they're instituting it in Minneapolis. If enacted nationally, it would allow you to vote for an independant or 3rd Party candidate without wasting your vote. In addition, it would have avoided the 2000 Florida Presidential debacle. You vote for the candidate of your choice, and if that candidate does place 1st or 2nd, your 2nd choice...or 3rd...is automatically recorded. Right now, I would NEVER vote for a minor candidate no matter how much I liked him or her, but I would under a scenario like this: www.startribune.com/politics/local/47774887.html?elr=KArksLckD8EQDUoaEyqyP4O:DW3ckUiD3aPc:_Yyc:aUac8HEaDiaMDCinchO7DU

I agree with said limitating circumstances. But really if the big capital fake thinktanks and the "K" street Newt Gingrich type Libertarians where shutout and shut down we could start to purify the whole federal messes and such? ><Tomasina Chicawolverina!
