I only some few days ago finally remembered to see the movie "The Men Who Stare At Goats". Although the book I hear is much better, and there are unpardonable omissions and missing attributions from the original story line, still, I wanted to see it. It's a humorous entertainment vehicle for the most part, in about the same level but even shallower than that so-called EVP movie "White Noise". These movies aren't informing "the public" with any understanding, just bring us along like Chris Mathew's interviews where he always stops any transference of knowledge and news-you-can-use before the guest can get much of any of it out with his ubiquitous "We'll have to leave it right there" interjection leading to a cut. Nonetheless; I couldn't help but think how the Larry Hooper character could have been something like that back biting, toxic little roach turd, white-trash criminal, Art Bell/C2C whore, Maj Ed Dames. It's just so much like him to be that role, even if it's way too flattering even for him! LOL These types of movies should have the audience left in total shock and awe, not well that book must have really stunk bad so that they make movies of it. But there's this really cool manual you can download "First EARTH Battalion Manual" in *.PDF format and other stuff there: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Men_Who_Stare_at_Goats><T'Chicawolverina!
